• ✦Substrate calculator — calculate exactly how much substrate to buy for any tank shape and depth. Supports flat and sloped layouts. • ✦Tank volume calculator — calculate water volume for any tank shape: rectangle, bowfront/curved front, hexagon, corner/pentagon, cylinder and sphere. Adjustable fill level slider and substrate depth. Outputs in litres, US gallons and UK gallons.
• ✦CO₂ cylinder runtime estimator — enter your remaining CO₂ weight, bubble rate, daily injection hours and diffuser type. AquaCalc estimates days remaining, your run-out date and a reorder reminder with a 7-day safety buffer. Alerts fire when under 14 days remain.
• ✦Drop checker colour reference — personalised to your reference solution KH (2–6 dKH). Shows the exact colour, CO₂ ppm and checker pH at every CO₂ level from 5 ppm through 50+ ppm. Explains the science behind the 4 dKH standard reference solution.

• ✦Fertiliser dosing calculator — calculate exact dose amounts for any parameter across EI, PPS-Pro and lean dosing methods. Supports the full Seachem liquid fertiliser range plus common dry salts (KNO3, KH2PO4, K2SO4, MgSO4·7H2O, CaCl2, CaSO4, CSM+B). Custom fertiliser support included.
• ✦Water change calculator — calculate the exact percentage and volume of water change needed to bring any parameter to your target. Uses your RO Mixer mixed values as the replacement water chemistry. Multi-change breakdown table shows how many 25%, 30% or 50% changes are needed.
• ✦Weekly dosing schedule — each dosing result includes a full day-by-day schedule tailored to your chosen method (EI, PPS-Pro or lean).
• ✦Complete loop — tank volume syncs from pH Monitor, replacement water chemistry from RO Mixer, feeding directly into both calculators.

• ✦pH drop calculation mode — for aquasoil and buffering substrates where the KH/pH/CO2 formula breaks down. Estimates CO₂ using 3 × 10^(overnight pH − current pH), using the overnight reading as the degassed baseline.
• ✦Mode toggle — switch between KH formula and pH drop method with a single click. Mode saves per profile.
• ✦Estimated CO₂ in drop mode — approximate CO₂ ppm shown alongside the pH drop, clearly labelled as an estimate.
